St Andrews Energy Centre Project

Location: St Andrews University

Activities: Groundworks, preparation for infrastructure and wood chipping yard. Works included new roadway, foundations and bridge abutments to support new access Bailey bridge and the installation of security fencing.

‘UK Landcare were employed by Vital Energi to carry out the construction of a new chipping yard, access roads, perimeter fencing and associated hard and soft landscaping works as part of a prestigious project we were carrying out for St Andrews University.

UKLC carried out the work to a very high standard, performing admirably on both the installation quality and their health & safety performance, which enabled Vital Energi to achieve practical completion of the project on time with no defects or snags.

UKLC are a pleasure to work with, spending valuable time pre contract to review and discuss the works to ensure that any potential construction interfaces are closed out early which leads to an efficient construction phase.

We would definitely work with UKLC again.’
